Dry winters, harsh water and sanitizer – Kimberley’s Theron family

Baby skins are sensitive as it stands, but dry climate and added eczema make happy babies very uncomfortable. How can you not love a product that sooths your little one?

Some would say that PD and Carli are the perfect couple. Their paths crossed at the perfect time and that is where their story began. On the 18th of February 2017 PD and Carli said I do and started a new chapter in their lives as a married couple.

PD is a doctor at the local state hospital in Kimberley and Carli is a head nurse at Gariep Medi-clinic. Both have extremely stressful jobs with long hours. Helenka is their little miracle. Their journey was not easy, but she is just the sweetest little princess, which makes the hardships a little sweeter. Delivering a baby in the middle of a world pandemic is not what PD and Carli had in mind. It was scary on a whole new level but here they are, 5 months later, enjoying everything that little Helenka brings into their lives.

They were delighted to receive their Epi-max gift packs. Kimberley has a very dry climate and harsh water which can really do a number on your skin. So when caring for their newborn, this mom was adamant to search for something that would nourish and protect her baby. Working in the hospital and being in surgeries on a daily basis, PD follows a strict sanitising protocol, so his hands and skin are sensitive and require extra care. He was happy to receive his very own Epi-max Man range and very grateful to be treated with a “dad pack” for a change.

Helenka is a little rose amongst the thorns. She is a beautiful baby girl full of laughs and always curious to see what is going on around her. She has very sensitive skin and is suffering from eczema. Carli was excited to try the Epi-max range and see how Helenka’s skin reacted. After trying the range over the weekend Carli said: “I LOOVEE the cream, definitely converted”. As a family they are all using Epi-max and enjoying the improvement in their skin condition, especially after the dry Kimberley winter.

The Epi-max team spent the evening of 22 September sharing valuable information with our group of baby mommies. The online session was filled with scientific snippets and practical pointers that helped the mom’s understand the benefits and uses of the range of Epi-max products better. Thank you to Salmari Fourie and her team, for the insights shared and valuable BABY TALK provided!
